New Rules vs. Old Rules
• New rules for the skilled worker class are retroactive to February 27, 2008
• Applications made before Feb 27, 2008, will be processed under the old rules
• Applicants that have previously submitted an application that would now fit on the list of 38 occupations may wish to reapply (although at some point they will be invited to discontinue application #1-fees may be returned to them depending on where the file is at in terms of processing.
